Giu & Andy

Andrea & Michael
They dance and teach together for already twenty odd years in Boogie Woogie and Lindy Hop. Andrea started dancing at the age of 7 years, Standard- & Latin to start with moving on to Ballett and Jazz Dance incl. tournaments. She started to teach Lindy and Boogie being 16 years of age......Michael was impressed by Music from early childhood onwards. Suffice to say he started plaing the piano as a kid and started dancing Boogie from his teenhood onwards.
He too is a teacher for donkeys years already and regularly features as a workshop trainer and DJ.
Somewhere the "Schruenthers" encountered each other and subsequently started to teach together and to being an item. Eversince then Lindy Hop und Boogie Woogie became part of their joint DNA and never to be excluded ever again.
Their combination of a sound dance education and a love for music lead to „CITYSwing Moers“ as their home base. Their teaching message hails as "hear it, feel it, show it." Being at ease, telling your story and express your own art signifies their teaching style.
Maren & Bernd
Maren and Bernd are on an inspiring move in the Berlin Lindy-Hop-Scene since 2009 and are up for grabs for a dance at any time. They were thrilled from the beginning by the open, joyful and special atmosphere that that prevailed during the Lindy-Hop dancing events. Today in their own classes they especially emphasize a good Lead and Follow supplemented by clear techniques. In their workout they concentrate on what is technically feasible and creativity. Their own dancing style distinguishes itself by harmonic flow, round flowing movements and playing with different Tempi. In Berlin they regularly offer classes as trainer in the RRC-Spreeathen and as workshop trainer internationally. (for more informations www.lindyturn.de)

Yulia (& Kaan)
Yulia was a jazz and modern dancer when she met the company “The Rhythm Hot Shots” in 2000.
She was one of the first Russian dancers at Herräng Dance Camp, invited by Lennart Westerlund, and had the chance to study with such great teachers as Frankie Manning, Dawn Hampton, and Chazz Young. After moving to Aachen (GER) where she worked as a theatre dancer, she organized a small Lindy Hop group in 2013. Once a year, dancers from Aachen take part in workshops with Yulia’s first teacher, Lennart Westerlund, and his dance partner, Ewa Burak.
Yulia worked at Herräng Dance Camp in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
